I just couldnt resist. After all I didn't buy this rig to have it look shiny in the driveway.

Everybody said why do you have to wheel this when you have a dedicated trail
rig? Well....you cant explain the unexplainable to people who don't get it.
My cruiser guru, who shall remain nameless, even said I shouldn't.

The stock Bridgestone Dueler HT's werent all that bad aired down to 15 psi.
Sure they werent great, but the ATRAC certainly made up for it.
I won't be wheeling this much, unless the 40 is down and I really need to wheel.
In 8-10 years this will be my weekend warrior/dedicated trail rig. It will slowly see some mods during that time frame. First up will be an ARB up front. Lotsa deer around these parts.

It performed flawlessly. Some poser pics:

You seem to have the same plan as I do. I also have a dedicated trail rig, and planned to not wheel my FJ much. Well, that plan isn't working. I think I'm being spoiled by my Cruiser. I haven't wheeled my 4Runner since I got the FJ.

My odometer read 6 miles when I first took it rock hopping, I could not hold back-just don't tell my service advisor;)That was my break-:bounce2: in period LOL.

When I left the dealer I wanted to take it straight to the trail.
I had asked a very good friend of mine to come with me to the dealer
when I picked it up. He had just helped me remove an ARB bumper from my
Tacoma so I could bring it back for the trade. I was going to surprise him in
lot and hand him the keys and say "take it to the trail".

He was wise in not coming as I was there about 3 hours.

Can't wait to see this in action Lovey on Friday. You can go a bit overboard if you want though...I've got the winch ready to pull ya out!!

Sorry to say you arent going to.

This was just a "I had to take it in the woods" run.
I'll be in the 40 on friday and we will do the whole mountain. Have the
winch ready though cause I'm taking you on some harder stuff.
