Saw this today. It stuck out like 10” from the rear bumper so it caught my eye.

That is an old bolt on hitch. They used to be common. They are rated I think for a 1000 pounds or maybe 1500 but no more

Wait until you walk around the back of that in a parking lot and smash your shin on it!
It’s legal, but not very considerate to not remove it when not in use.

What Does this have to do with Landcruisers? If someone smashes their shin on that then they are walking to close to other peoples cars.

I had one of those hitches on a late 90's Maxima I had years ago. Worked great for hauling crap in my little utility trailer. Bolted to the aluminum bumper (I had to drill holes), and the spare tire well too.

You don’t get out much. Jerks who back up over sidewalks with trailer balls and extensions. Happens all the time, especially at hotels where I happen to live half my life.
