1st gear synchro gears

i need help trying to get a 1st gear synchro or a rebuilt 4speed
do i have to get the ring assembly to get the synchro
any help would be great

The first gear synchronizer ring is built in to the gear assembly, so it is very expensive. It would be easier and cheaper to just get a good used 4 speed than replace the synchro assembly.

last time i checked for prices on the syncros it was $270 @ SOR USED.... and $600 something for new one....it is indeed expensive i almost fell of my seat when the guy quoted me,thats for the 1st and 2nd gear syncros complete unit they call a ring gear assembly.......however 3rd and 4th gear syncros where only in the $30 range.....
