Simple Q, I read on here its 115hp, wheras on wikipedia its 105hp... lol, which is it,
i cant seem to find much.

also, has anyone dyno'd a turbo'd 1pz?

i agree. i too had our beloved LJ78, or rather should i say, 2lte, and though the hp figures are not much different, they are VERY different beasts. the pz sounds like an engine. the kz engines sound pretty meh also, even though they put out more than the pz. im a getting bit hooked on the sound of engines, the 12ht has to have the best sound

It was always difficult to really enjoy the sound of the 2L-TE because you were convinced that even the slightest change in sound quality was actually the beginning of the explosion.
My 2H actually has a nice "diesel sound" but is in no means associated with horsepower.

actually in operation the 2lte is a very smooth quiet engine. i have tinitus so that pleased me. depends what your looking for i suppose, lol, this month its a roar.

12HT sounds more like a truck engine when idling, not when cruising speed. An extremely responsive engine, I would say.

Thats approx what you get when you subtract 22.5 from 135HP,which is the 1HZ HP 22.5 = 6/135

the turbo'd PZ is a hoot to drive
the 2LTE is a gutless, thirsty POS ... s***, did i type that?
