Starting my Turbo install this week with a CT26 on my 1HZ. I bought the factory support bracket that goes from the bottom of the turbo to the block, and now I'm seeing that the holes on the block are not drilled or tapped

Just wanted to see what others have done (with success or failure). Im thinking I have 3 options:

1. Drill and tap
2. Make new bracket that mounts to the downpipes support bolts (sort of far away)
3. Don't use a bracket.

I never ran a bracket mainly because I would have to tap the block on my last truck. There are plenty systems out there that never did that and I am sure are ticking away just fine.

I drilled and tapped for it on my FJ60 1HZ turbo conversion. On my HZJ80, when I installed the HX30W I did not use a bracket. No issues so far.
