Hey blokes, about to convert my 1hz to a 1hdft in my 80 series. Has anyone on here completed the conversion. I'm after a list of what I need to change over in the conversion. I know the sump needs changing and the pulleys?

If we can keep this thread strictly for the 1hz to 1hdft conversion that'd be good thanks legends

Diesel Tech / 24 volts

BJ/HJ diesels (3B, 13BT, 1KZ, 1HZ, 1PZ, etc) and other diesel conversions (ie: Isuzu, Hino, 4BT, 6BT, etc)

Yeah mate I've finished the conversion. She's an easy conversion. 1hz out ft straight in lol everything is the exact same

did you upsize fuel line?
I am looking for some direction on vaccum hose location... any chance you could post some
pics of your fuel pump???

Yeah it's okay, the fuel pump needs a good tune. It's very underpowered. And no you don't need to change anything mate. The fuel lines are the same size. I don't see the benefit in changing the fuel lines anyway? My vacuum hoses to the fuel pump aren't on it just yet. I'll get some photos for you mate

Toyota installed bigger fuel supply line on 1hd-t and 1hd-ft about 2 years after first release. There was a factory recall on them.

Lack of fuel was causing engine to surge when running at high speed.

I bought mine off japmotorimports they're based in WA. I wouldn't recommend them, mine was abit sad internally, and had a bent crank. I see Jordan baker at only onlylandcruisers on Facebook has a couple mate. He would be worth a try or Engine City Imports in QLD might have one also.
