1HZ Oil Pan Replacement Question (3 Viewers)

I have a 98 HZJ105. I ordered a new oil pan and all the associated hardware, but in the illustrated parts breakdown, it doesn't show a gasket. Does a gasket come with the oil pan (there wasn't a gasket listed in the parts list), or is it meant to just have a silicone based gasket compound or some sort of sealing compound added to the pan when installing???

Also, if anyone knows the torque value for the oil pan bolts, appreciate you sharing that info.

What beno said. That is form in place gasket (fipg). I get a set of 4” wallpaper scraper blades and hammer drive them in at intervals to “pop” the seal on the pan. There is a tool that does same thing but I am cheap.
