Wanted 1HZ glow plug "electrical system"

Doing a 1HZ swap. I have the complete engine but need all the electrical items for the glow plugs. I have the "rail" but nothing else. Partial list:
Edic
Glow plug timer
Glow plug relay
Wiring harness or just pig tails
Anything else....

There is no EDIC on a 1HZ so cross that off your list.

whoops, busted! working on too many projects at once.

georg if I were you I would keep this simple. All you need is a relay (could be a heavy duty starter relay, or a glow relay) and a momentary switch for the dash. Make sure your glow plugs are appropriate for the vehicle voltage (10-12v for a 12v system)

i do agree with you. trying to keep this one as oem as possible but might just run the old ford solenoid. that's what i have on my early troopy and it works well. the factory stuff crapped out and was expensive as well as hard to find. been running the solenoid since uhmmmmmmm 2003 and it's been super reliable.

I have a a few 12v 12ht timers if you want to try one. You still need a relay and you are on your own to figure out the wiring. You could make it work but it's not right...

I have one 24v as well

this one's all converted to 12V. i would'nt mind one of those times. i have all the schematics here and can figure that stuff out no probelm. might be fun just for the excersize. like i have time for such nonsense!

KISS principle
80 amp breaker
heavy gauge wiring
starter push button switch
11V glow plugs

but the factory system works well...
