I got one for you but it comes wrapped in a hdj81, maybe you can convert that to a hzj81

Well the price is high that is true but the fact is that there never is much history as far as used engines go,nobody will part out that perfect one owner HDJ80 with low miles and full maintenance history,just not happening.I have gotten very lucky so far that I have found many rusted out HZJ73's at a place where it would cost more to get them inspected for road use then their value was,times have changed values of these same trucks have gone up again so I am spending more and am getting less possible candidates.For the 1HDT and 1HDTFT engines this is even worse because not many of them get wrecked or rusted out so bad that they end up being parts donors!

For the OP I just received a message that early next year I can get another 1HDT from one of my reliable sources back home if you still are looking for one at that time.
