Hello folks .. any of you know for sure which it's the thread size / pitch for 1HD-T / 1HZ water sensor ..

I'm guessing by eye that it's close to 5/8 what ever it should be in British thread that Mr. T use ..

It will definitely be metric.
I have a bad head around, I can check on the weekend if you still need it then.
My guess is 14x1.25 or 14x1.5.
cheers,
jan

All pipe threads on the 1HD-T are BSPT.

It's the same sensor/thread in the head from the 3B over 2H, 1HZ to 1HDFT. Likely different part numbers, but they all cross over (if they are 12V). I doubt they are pipe thread, but I do not know.
thanks,
J

Edit: 83420-20020 is used in hundreds of models...

Is this the sensor that goes into the engine block or the outlet pipe for the top radiator hose like the australian models?

the ones going ( there are 2 and both the same thread ) on the outlet pipe top radiator hose ..

Not sure of the thread size ,but I used a 3F sensor on the 1HZ top outlet pipe .So the thread is the same there also.
