I have a fzj70 and Im trying to find out what the gasket between the connector sub assembly and the carburetor is called or what the part number is.

Can it be bought alone or does it come with something else?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Hello,

Do you mean the insulator? If so, part number is 21912-66010.

Hope this helps.

@JuanJ thanks for the reply but no, I am not referring to the insulator.

This gasket sits between the carburetor and the connector sub assembly that is connected to the air intake.

If you look at this picture you can see the gasket. I want to know if it can be bought separately or I would have to purchase the entire part just for the gasket.

Thanks,
Dan

Hello,

The parts catalog does not indicate a separate gasket.

You might want to buy the whole part (p/n 17805-66010 by the way.) Or you may want to try making a gasket.

The gasket is not serviced separately. You will have to buy the connector to get it.

Looks like a fairly easy DIY job.

Ok thanks for replies
