IMG_0637.webp Hello Landcruiser lovers,
I am placing my '99 up for sale here in Southern California. I purchased it last May with the intention of restoring it to "as-new" condition for my daily driver. It had the 90k mile service when I purchased it, but I also did a bit of work to it, including: new fan clutch (got advice for that right here on this forum), tune-up with spark plugs, etc, antenna mast, new KYB shocks and some leather conditioner. I bought a two-year warranty through the dealer where it was listed for sale, so I have had everything fixed to ensure a proper running vehicle. Mechanically it needs nothing, according to my mechanic.
It has the third-row seats and properly functioning air-conditioning. The leather is all in pretty good shape, except that the drivers seat has two small tears where the leather has creased over the years. All normal wear and tear stuff. The sunroof made some ugly sounds when I opened it, and I had to gently encourage it to close the last time it was opened, so I haven't opened it since then. After doing some research on this forum, it seems that a fix could be very involved and costly, so I chose not to do that.
The vehicle is bone stock, and I have never taken it anywhere besides my daily commute on the highway and up to the snow once. It is very comfortable and I truly enjoy the ride.
I am selling it because my wife is pregnant and I want her in a new, safer car (she has a Prius). Her car is paid-off, my Landcruiser is not. I would rather not have two car payments, so the Landcruiser must go. I have placed it on Craigslist for $15k, OBO.

This is a great vehicle; low mileage and stock. Anybody looking for a great family vehicle for daily use or a platform for modification, its a great opportunity. Please email me if you have any questions. I am located in the Thousand Oaks region of Southern California.

It has front and center locking differentials and no, it is not an original CA truck. It came from Florida several years ago and the owner had it serviced at Northridge Toyota until he traded it in for another Toyota.

Front locker on a 99? You sure about that? Does it have the locker dial to the left of the steering wheel?

Forgot to mention that it has a fully transferable warranty that covers drivetrain for the next year and price is negotiable.
