You don't say if it's the front or rear wheel bearing, though there's not much difference. You'll be replacing the bearing/hub assembly, it's held on by 3 or 4 bolts or nuts on the backside of the spindle. The only special tool you may need is a socket big enough for the front axle nut. Once you disassemble the brakes, it's a simple matter.

it is the front bearing... and it is a 36mm socket.. found that out by doing a quick search on the net.. I am also reaplacing power steering pump.. how difficult is that? once you get that in how do you bleed it?

thanks again!!!

The hardest part of the P/S Pump will be transferring the pulley, you may need a special tool. The 4-cylinder is supposed to take about 1 hour, the V6 closer to 2.

The preferred method of bleeding is done with the engine off. If possible have the front tires off the ground, fill the reservoir, and turn the steering wheel back and forth several times. You should see bubbles come up and the fluid level drop.

Now you can start the engine for 1/2 a minute or so, just to let the pump do it's work. Turn it off and repeat the above procedure until the level doesn't drop anymore and there is no whining while it's running.

ok... I have a lift so getting it off the ground not a problem... yea.. I was wondering about the pully.. I may have to take that to a shop I know in town and have them transfer that for me...

thanks for the tip!!!
