Have owned this Cruiser for 12 years; purchased from California in 2006. Motor rebuilt at 255k (Broken heater T+ wife road tripping in the summer=engine blew up). During engine rebuild, almost everything was replaced including starter, fan clutch, other bearings, ignition coils, muffler, catalytic converters…. Engine started knocking recently (280k) and sounds like something in the bottom end. I have priced it as though the motor needs replaced, even though it runs and drives. I don’t have the time or patience to fix it. Has hard to find Toyota factory center AND front locking differentials (I think the front was only available in 1999). Although this rig is capable of much, it has been a soccer mom’s car, as evidenced by the stock shocks. 3rd row seat; 8 seat belts. Still good life left in BFG A/T KO2s. Driver’s seat is rough. Scratches on rear bumper. Firm on $4000 price for the time being. Located outside of Salt Lake City, UT.
