Brand new to the board. This is my second land cruiser. I previously had a 1997 that had no problems but a starter. I now have a 1999 Land cruiser with 115, 000 miles on it.
The problem is the Keyless entry unlocks the doors but does not unlock. If i lock the doors with the door switch and then press the lock button on the key the lights flash but the relay does not activate.
If the doors are all closed and unlocked, the lock button on the key does nothing, no relay activation, no light flash.
I am confused. The car was at the body shop for a passanger fender moulding replacement. When I got it back, the battery was obviously disconnected or dead because the radio stations were no longer programmed. Would that effect anything?
new battery in the keyless entry and the led glows when the buttons are pressed.
