1998 UZJ100
193k miles
$7000 - mud price only
The W said on our last camping trip we are going to need a bigger trailer for the four of us. Low and behold, found a very low mile, cough-cough, Dodge Cummins and pulled the trigger. So the 100 is up for sale.
I've had the 100 for almost four (4) years. I bought it locally, with 165,000 miles.
The front and rear brakes, along with bearings were completed shortly after I purchased the vehicle.
Oil changes have been done at proper intervals.
Timing belt was just completed by SD Trux around 190K
Newer Hancock Dynapro tires 285/75/16 (less than 10k miles - with Discount tire warranty)
OME lift - 860 rear springs, all shocks installed. I have the torsion bars, but they're not installed yet. And no diff drop bc they were out of stock when I ordered the lift.
Truck has trailer hitch (I installed, never towed before me)
Seven pin trailer connector and trailer brakes (new, within the year).
*We only tow a 15' Chalet A-frame camping trailer. (that's gonna be for sale too soon). It's 2500# max. The 100 towed it with ease. That was it. No heavy towing.
Husky liners front and second row seats.
Windows tinted. Rears extra dark, front minor.
I have the third row seats.
Rear Diff locker
Truck is in Fair condition. But realize... It's almost 19 years old.
Issues:
Drivers seat outter bolster leather is torn.
Rear hatch spoiler broke
Hood needs new lift supports
Windshield washer fluid not coming out of front window currently. (gonna try and look into this today)
Scratches on front/rear bumper (this didn't bother me bc my plan was to put a different one on)
Ding on bottom tailgate. I left something on bumper, opened tailgate, and... ding.
The CV's should be re-greased soon. I can't see any cracks, just dirty.
Typical 100 series, Landcruiser issue where the "D" light on the dash is out.
Like I said, I did brakes, regular oil, timing belt. And that's it. I've got two toddlers (2 & 4), time is a premium. I haven't had the chance to fully baseline everything entirely. Just what's been mentioned.
Overall the 100 is great vehicle. Solid to drive, comfy.
It's just with our growing family of four and the W wanting a larger trailer. We needed something with a larger towing capacity. That's the only reason for selling.
Additional items:
Included: Toyota factory service manual (2)
Extra $100: Yakima rails/rack for roof
