New guy here. I just imported a '98 Hilux firetruck from Japan with only 13,000 kms on the odometer! It's got the 5L diesel 3.0 liter. Garage kept and government maintained, I have been driving it from the moment it was delivered.

It's my daily driver/weekend desert rambling rig. I have removed about 150 pounds of steel and miscellaneous items from the bed, but they did a really good job of making the racks and integral part of the bed. It would take a lot of surgical grinding to remove much more of what's left. What are your plans for this rig?
Going to remove all of the pumps/etc.?
I thought about getting one of these before I came across my LN172H XCab, but I did not want to deal with all of the fire gear.
