I am replacing the Ts and hose assembly on my newly purchased 1998 LC (95,000 mi) in conjunction with timing belt, water pump, etc. They are still in pretty good shape. I ordered new Ts, hoses and clamps from Camelback Toyota parts. Nice experience there. Anyway, I thought I would post the PNs and the diagram as there is a bit of conflicting information floating around for the 1998 LC especially the hose PNs

Clamps (12) - (Edited thanks to Qtonic who provided a revised illustration below)
PN 9046719022 (4)
PN 9613442100 (8)

Heater Ts (2) PN 87248-60460 (Diagram # 87248X)

Hoses (6)
Passenger Side (3)

87245-6A190 (Diagram #87246B)
87245-6A170 (Diagram #87256C)
Driver Side (3)

Caution: Those clamps are not right. I just did a 98 and they don't fit. You need 4x 9046719022 (for the hoses that go down from the tee) and 8x 9613442100 for all the rest.

You'll notice in your diagram that many of the clamps don't have part numbers. That's the first problem since they are not the same. Ironically, those that are listed (the ones at the far ends coming off the horizontal section) happen to be wrong even for their stated location as I recently found out. That hose diameter needs the 96134-42100 just like at the tee. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the help. The salesman indicated that someone had had a problem recently with the clamps (you?) and I raised the question of the 1/2" part of the T and whether those 4 would fit. He stuck with the stock diagram. I'm going to get the order revised. Thanks again.

I was wondering about that. The bottoms of the tee are a smaller diameter than the horizontal ends.

Good save. It would be helpful to edit the first post, too. :)

Possibly an idiotic question but I’m prepping to do this job, as I believe I’m blowing cooling from around one of my fittings... Do you need to drain the system to do this? Is there coolant in these lines 100% of the time or only when running?

I haven't replaced mine yet but my understanding from reading posts is that you'll lose about a cup or two when you disconnect the hoses.

Are these the same part numbers for a 2006 LC?

I did the four seasons steel and gates hoses and constant torque clamps. Normally I go oem but I like the idea of doing metal and saving 50$ to spend on p/s bushings
