I came to this site to try to sell our 1997 Toyota Landcruiser. I have lurked for many years and have purchased parts from CruiserDan. I haven't read thru all the posting rules so I'll ask for forgiveness but it is also listed locally on Craigslist (1997 Toyota Landcruiser). It was manufactured in 10/97 as a Collectors Edition. It has every option that I am aware was available except for locking differentials. We purchased it in Virginia with ~65,000 on it and have enjoyed owning it ever since. It has been garaged and cared for and it shows. Unfortunately, we do not drive it very often and has not seen regular use for the last 3 years so it is hard to justify keeping it registered and insured. We have done the usual maintenance, including oil and coolant changes, transmission flush, brakes, tires and the Birfield joints once. With 154,255 miles currently, this truck is in really good condition. It has all the original body panels, none of them have rust and the paint is in pretty good shape. The running boards however are looking their age and have developed some rust. There are also couple of dings but so very little considering the age and mileage. The tan interior has the expected wear but there are no rips, tears. We recently replaced the windshield (pitting), front bumper (rust) and the battery (age). Bridgestone Blizzak DMZ3 snow tires (about 70%) are mounted but there is also a set of Michelin LTX (about 80%) un-mounted. I do not have a second set of rims. The only modification is a Slee Off Road headlight wiring harness that I installed along with HIR bulbs and Bosch Compact 100's which made a huge improvement in the lighting. I will honestly say that the truck needs only a few things to make it a daily driver. The Birfield service needs to be done again, the rear emergency brakes are hanging up due to lack of use and it is due for an oil change. The drivers seat adjustment control knob broke off and I have the replacement assembly but have not installed it. I also have the FSM. I look forward to hearing from those that are interested.
