Nice pic. Your truck has wood!

For anyone who doesn't know, this is one of the coolest 80's in the country and also one of the coolest previous owners. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Thanks, Sean. Very kind of you.

I'm also an idiot for selling this truck.

hmmm...nice rack... ;)

So far, the veracity of this thread can not be overstated. ;p

And stop staring at my rack....

Say its not so. Trade you a Lexus rx330.

Wow, this is a surprise!

I too have seen this 80 in person and can vouch for its "one of a kind, built right" condition.

Bump for an awesome rig with a meticulous, trustworthy owner...

One of the keys to this rig is the previous owner, Jim Reiss, co-founder of Lone Star Land Cruisers, and a true Cruiser fanatic. His attention to detail with the truck is unprecedented. I inherited good bones and have watched carefully over them and tweaked to suit my needs. This truck is well sorted out and flat gets it. I have yet to find its limits.

Does the cruiser have the factory gearing or did you regear?

Factory gearing. The supercharger and the Tru-Speed are the ticket here.

I've driven Lance Williams' 80 w/ 5.29s and it's close but not as peppy. This 80 drives like it's on 31" tires. RJ Stout drove it some on the way to the Roundup last year and said the same thing -- supercharger adds more punch than his 5.29s.

The supercharger makes a huge difference and the Tru-Speed puts the shift points back where they belong (and is adjustable).

You are NUTS Todd! Is this Taco prebuilt? What can a 4 door Taco do that this can't? The only thing I could think of would be it could probably pass a gas station that this 80 couldn't pass up. Or haul really stinky stuff in the bed. I wish you luck with you sale. It is a very nice rig. I even bought the poster of it. http://www.costore.com/TLCA/productenlarged.asp?peid=133&pid=644704

Yes, built by All-Pro.

You're correct, this is probably a dumb idea. Time will tell.
