Good day Mudders, I am helping a friend sell his 80. This rig checks all the boxes in finding a 20+ year old 'Cruiser....low miles, no rust and a good ownership history. Here is the short story on this 'Cruiser....I purchased it from the 2nd owner, a wonderful lady up in Santa Fe in 2015. I sold it to a friend of mine and his high school daughter has been driving it for the last 2 years. Now in college, she wants something smaller and more fuel efficient. If I didn't already have my 100 it would be coming back to my garage. So technically its on its 4th owner. It has always been in New Mexico delivered new to Sauter Toyota in SF and is now located in Albuquerque. It has never been offroad outside of a couple random dirt roads. It has been maintained and garaged its entire life. Look underneath and you see New Mexico. Look at the 100% original paint and clearcoat, and you see garaged.

Recent maintenance in the last couple years for a baseline on this rig......

-Rear main and front main seals
-Complete front brakes
-Rear brakes
-Tires
-O2 sensor and EGR sensor
-The drivers seat bottom was re-upholstered by the PO

Comes with a large folder of maintenance records from ALL the owners. As it sits it does not need any maintenance. Nothing. There are no CEL. No driving issues. Everything works down to the original radio and antenna. AC is ice cold. All power equipment works as it should.

As with any 20+ year old vehicle it does have a couple small issues that need to be included for prospective buyers.....

-There is a small crack in the windshield down below the drivers side sight line.
-Its missing 2 of the center caps thanks to the tire shop
-Some dipsh*t kid at her high school thought it would be cute to put a bunch of small dings in it on the passenger side front fender/door. See pics. Could possibly be taken out thru a PDR guy.
-Rear bumper has dent on drivers' side from PO
-Passenger running board end cap fell off

Just some small little things, really. If there is something else you would like to see, don't hesitate to ask. The VIN is provided in the close-up of the original window sticker. It has 177K miles. It is not locked. My number is 505-321-5830 to contact me. Asking $11,500 obo. Not too many left that are nicer than this one. Ask away if you have any questions, thanks.

I'm not exactly sure how many of these pics are making it onto the ad. Trying to abide by the 20 pics per post. I have 110 pictures of this Cruiser.

Let's hope the kid who did that to the passenger front fender/door does not run into any of us alone in a back alley somewhere. Unbelievable travesty to commit to such a clean vehicle. Looks great otherwise. GLWS

Thanks, and yeah, I woulda gone to jail if I woulda caught the little asshat who did that. Touch-up paint would help, which we left off so it could be seen. Or maybe it can PDR out. Either way it doesn't detract from the overall quality of this LC, at least in my mind.

Surprised this rig is still available... Seriously nice 80, you wont find a better one without paying over $20K. GLWS!

Thanks, but it is appearing that the market is bearing it out as over-priced. I will look into that with my buddy. I will also look into the paint on it; it was brought to my attention that maybe its not original paint. I'll investigate and maybe post some close-ups. The entire vehicle including the engine was professionally detailed before photos taken....I refuse to post for sale a dirty vehicle. Stay tuned.....

Based on the carfax, I'd agree that it is overpriced. Unfortunate, because it looks great! I got excited going through those pictures, and if it were priced right I'd be in NM yesterday to check it out.

Well, what does the Carfax say? If anyone has a price recommendation I will gladly take it.

The Carfax said it hit a utility pole in 2000 under the first owner. It had paintwork done to it 17 years ago as a result. I have not had time to go down and put my hands on it myself to see exactly what/where/how. Once I do I will update the thread. I obviously did not run a carfax on it when I purchased it, I just bought it. He has lowered the price to $9,000 for now. Thanks to all the Mudders with their help on this.

Bet that dang utility pole was hurting afterwards!. I think your price at 9K is good and would not go lower. I have a 94 , 240K mikes on it, been through wife and 2 kids. I wouldn't sale mine for 9K, and while mine looks pretty good for its age, yours is just a s good. If I wee in NM I might would buy it. Everything you listed as wrong is easily fixed.
