Selling a 1996 Vortec 5.7 liter engine that is set up for swapping into an FJ40 or Jeep. I ran this in my FJ40 since 2003 then pulled it in 2024 to swap in a built 6.0 LS. Just wanted my torque and HP for what I’m doing.

This is READY TO BOLT IN AND RUN. It doesn’t have any issues and it runs extremely smooth. I always changed the oil every year with synthetic so it had roughly 1,500 mile changes. Burns ZERO oil, doesn’t leak oil and never let me down. This is sequential port fuel injection, it runs perfect at any angle. I drove all over the western US and Alaska running trails. Roughly 135k total miles, I bought at 100k.

Has Advance Adapters block hugger headers, Speed Scene Wiring standalone harness, roughly 6-7 wires that need to be hooked up to run it. K&N air filter, MSD ignition coil, ceramic spark plugs, swivel thermostat neck and updated intake gaskets. Comes complete with flywheel and CenterForce clutch assembly

Includes exhaust crossover, O2 sensors and SM420 trans bellhousing. I also have an SM420 transmission if you are interested in that.

Will include TONS of spare parts. Every sensor, spark plug wires, intake, injectors, etc. Price is $2k OBO

What the heck, pretty sure that was in the fillable form 😂

MUD price is $2k OBO. I am also willing to help with meeting up/delivery of it. Would be willing to drive it several hundred miles or so.

I also have a video of running it before I pulled it from the 40. Just can’t for the life of me remember how to load it here. If you want to see the video shoot me a PM and I’ll text it to you.

PRICE DROP, $1800

Would like to see this move along to a happy new home
