any photos of engine/underside/driver seat/steering wheel/dash?

I think you're about right. Mud tends to be the lowest price point on the internet. You could fetch 13 to 16k on Ebay, if you get it detailed and take a few dozen good photos showing no rust...the leather on those new seats, etc. Mud tends to go $1k to 3k less. If you want to go as low as $12k, let me know, I'd be interested...think you can do a bit better though with the lockers and low miles

You have done some great things to the rig and I think they do add value but it's hard to say how much value to a perspective owner. The market for 80's appears to have been rising over the past year which should also help your cause.

Pictures of the undercarriage, close-ups of paint issues, stains, etc. would help as well as a good detail to show that you have cleaned and cared for the rig. IMO those items are expected at the price point you are asking for but it is entirely up to you.

What does the rig need today or will it need soon? Items like the front birfs, tires, etc.

Does the rig come with the stock bumper or would you be willing to split the bumper and rack off the truck?

It's a great looking truck and I am interested similar to AZcruisers above me, just not at the $15k. Good luck with your sale!

Hope that local sale works out for you, Kevin. It looks like a great rig.

any shots of engine or underside? wondering about rust anywhere

Oh bummer, AndrewVolk, were you aware that the vehicle has been totaled...typo in the VIN?

I have clear Colorado title. Minor front end accident that allowed me funds to upgrade front bumper. Not sure what classifies "total loss". But repair was less than $1000
Any advice?

If it wasn't totaled I'd get in touch with your insurance company and carfax and get that straightened out. I personally won't even take a second look at a salvage title car, I imagine a lot of people are like that.... So this would be concerning to me as an owner if the insurance company didn't salvage title your vehicle and carfax is reporting otherwise.

Yes I would contact Carfax and insurance. The salvage title will scare people off and lower resale. Thought insurance would have to tell you they were totaling the vehicle.

because im bored and did some googling...the 2nd owner, not @andrewvolk, got into a wreck in CO. CO's total loss threshold is 100%. insurance companies are typically 75% to declare a total loss. the previous owners insurance company did not legally have to report it to the state of CO, therefore, still has a clean title as far as the DMV of colorado cares. previous owner fixed it up i suppose and sold it to @andrewvolk.

They did a heck of a job fixing it up. I really didn't notice in the pics and usually have a decent eye for fender gaps/slightly different color fenders.

Now that I look really closely, I wonder it was the front clip. It seems a tad shinier than the rest (other than the rear door flares, which may have been repainted when front was...(pic #1 you can see scuffing on non-door part of rear flare, but not on door part). I wonder if the gap between the front fender/front door is slightly tight on drivers side (see pic #2)) & slightly loose on passenger (see pic #3)...I have seen entirely clean Carfax 80's with similar gaps between the passenger front door/fender. That might also explain the nearly perfect bumper/grille. Also, if the Toyota emblem/"4WD" are gold on the back...would the emblem also be gold on the grille originally? It looks to be SILVER in pic #5...but GOLD in pic #2??? unless my eyes are deceiving me.

Any other novice detectives want to weigh in?
It sure is a good looking truck though. Could make a great daily driver.

Also, if @andrewvolk bought from a licensed dealer, and if dealer claimed clean title, but obviously knew otherwise...I wonder if the 2012 purchase date might be within statue of limitations for some recourse toward the seller. Though I'm no expert there.
