1995 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80

-197, xxx miles.

-Purchased in Greenville, SC. 4th owner, predominately a southern vehicle. Carfax from 2018 purchase. Some previous records, most receipts and maintenance records since my purchase.

-At purchase Summer 2018:

-Full oil change including diffs

-Transmission and coolant flush

-New spark plugs and plug seals

-Pesky heater hose

-Valve cover gasket

-Distributor cap O-ring

-New belts

-Full mechanical inspection

Exterior mods since purchase:

-OME 2” suspension lift

-MagnaFlow downpipe and Borla stainless exhaust

-ARE front bumper

-White Knuckle off road sliders (Linex Premium)

-Stock fender flares with Linex Premium

-Rear bumper covers with Linex Premium

-KM3 35” tires (well over 50% tread left)

-Factory rims Plasti-Dip (in excellent condition with center caps)

-Full Weatherguard mats throughout interior

-LED headlights/reverse light upgrade

Recent service:

-Oil pump gasket

-Front main seal

-Air intake boot

-Winshield wiper motor

-Drivers side door seal

Overall good condition, mechanically sound. ABS light is on, not sure if the sensors are dirty or have failed (normal for model). It drives sound, pulls and brakes well. Steering has slight play due to lift but better than most lifted trucks.

Little to no rust on undercarriage (I religiously treated at every oil change). It is a good platform to continue to build out or drive as is.

Exterior:

-Paint is in poor condition. Clearcoat from roof and hood has nearly peeled away. I’ve shown the worst in the photos. I believe it’s nice enough candidate for a repaint (why we haven’t explained below). One small rust bubble forming on passenger A pillar.

Interior:

-Presents well for a 30 year old truck but there are signs of wear. Light cracking in dash, some molding pieces missing on sunroof surround, some wear to drivers seat (see pics), missing rear speaker covers (I should have paid for a professional stereo install!). Couple bulbs out in shift indicator. Pioneer head unit and speakers (system is OK at best). Headliner is in good condition with no sagging. Sunvisors due have some sag. All electrical functions work, even the power antenna.

I’ve done my best to describe the vehicle. I’m more than willing to discuss in more detail. This is my second FZJ80 and I have knowledge to discuss any concerns you may have. Several miscellaneous service parts and original parts will be included, the rear seats are included.

I’m sure Im forgetting something and will update if I find/remember anything.

My wish was to pass this heritage vehicle down to my daughter, for her to driver and appreciate. After 6 months I’m realizing it may not be the best fit for a new beginner driver. Having extras vehicles on our insurance policy isn’t an option right now. I’m more than happy to discuss other reasons to any serious buyer. I can provide my latest mechanics phone number if you want a second opinion on the truck. I understand these are difficult to find and potential buyers will be picky. I’ll do my best to help where I can, but I encourage and expect all potential Land Cruiser buyers to do their due diligence. This is a solid example for the price.

Asking $10,500. Located in Lexington, KY. Willing to drive/deliver a bit for a sale but not for tire kickers just looking.

Thanks for reading, Joe

Hey Joe!

I'm looking to start my first project so that me and my partner can go on adventures during our time here in college. I would like to see those videos that you mentioned if you wouldn't mind and anything else you can think to share!

Thanks,
Jerm

Pm me your number, I'll be more than happy to send.

The hood alone no. I was quoted $2800 for the hood, roof, some paint correction here and there, new windshield (not sure why) and repair the rust bubble and repaint the a pillars. 2 different places, exact same quote.

I think you could PlastiDip the hood and roof if you were using as a camping rig. We were really close to new paint all the way around, $8500. But I decided not to because my daughter is a new driver and parking at her school is an issue. I knew it would just get dinged up.

Hope this helps, Joe
