This 1994 Toyota LandCruiser is located in Corpus Christi, Texas and I'm asking $24,500 OBO. It's 99% stock, and as stated in the title, it has only 22,XXX miles. I purchased the truck on consignment several years ago from a dealer in Nevada when it had only 17,XXX miles. The original owner passed away shortly after purchasing, and his brother kept it in storage ever since. Nearly everything is original, everything works, and everything's tight. The only additions/modifications from original are after market floor mats to preserve the originals (which are included), the windshield wipers (I saved the original blades and holders), a new battery, and new tires (I was told the originals were cracked/dry rotted). While it's not significant, there is a very small (dime-sized) dent in the middle of the rear bumper at the intersection of the bumper top/flat and rear/verticle planes. After I noticed it, I went back to look at the dealer's pictures and it was already there - I just missed it. That's it. Full disclosure. No joke, it still has a new car smell.
It is clear the truck was garage kept before I purchased it, and has been since as well. It has not been undercoated (typical for Nevada?), nor does it have a roof rack installed (as most 80 series I see do). The interior is cloth, not leather. The only bad thing I can say about the vehicle is that it did not come equipped with the locking differential option.
I purchased this vehicle with the intent letting my daughter use it to travel to and from high school because of it's reliability and safety factor (driving is grounded in physics, after all, and F=Ma (an FZJ80 has a BIG "M"). I've recently reconsidered my plan, however, for two reasons: 1) the vehicle is really too nice to subject to the gauntlet of a high school parking lot unnecessarily, and 2) at the present time my daughter clearly needs an attitude adjustment with respect to what "daddy" is willing (vs. obligated) to provide.
I'm not a hard-core 80 series buff, so I'm sure there are questions that I've not addressed here, but feel free to ask and I'll try my best to respond quickly and accurately. Also, feel free to contact me with specific requests for additional pictures. This is the first time I've posted anything on any forum, so a little patience please. Right now I'm limited 3 images - I'm not sure if that's it (forever), or if I can post additional photos later as specific requests come in.
In closing, I don't know how many 80 series Cruisers are out there with mileage in this range and in this condition, but I am willing to bet it's a relatively short list. I can guarantee the buyer will not be disappointed.
