Time has come, I'm just not driving this thing and ready to move on to other projects
1994 Toyota FZJ80 Land Cruiser for sale. No rust, excellent condition in and out. White over gray cloth, with 233,000 miles. No lockers. Asking $15.5k on Craigslist, willing to negotiate with a cool MUD member and send the truck to a good home.
More than $10K in recent repairs, maintenance and upgrades - a majority from Mudrak's in Sonoma, CA, including:
- Rebuilt cooling system, with new radiator (Toyota OEM) and hoses
- New power steering pump (Toyota OEM)
- New brakes (rebuilt front calipers) and wheel bearings all around (Toyota OEM), brake fluid flush
- Complete front axle rebuild, with 1 replaced Birfeld joint (Toyota OEM), other side was determined to be fine
- Full tune-up, incl. wires, plugs, cap/rotor, PCV, A/C & alternator belts (Toyota OEM)
- New Oxygen sensors (Toyota OEM)
- New fuel filter (Toyota OEM)
- Cleaning and testing of MAF for proper operation, and 'smoke test' for vacuum leaks, none found
- Full Dobinson's suspension (stock height) with Dobinson's steering stabilizer + complete alignment
- Rebuilt A/C system, blows COLD
- LED headlights (high & low beam)
- New Rain-X wipers front & rear
- New washer diverter valve (Toyota OEM)
- New driver's side seatbelt (Toyota OEM)
- New front seat levers
- New master window switch (aftermarket)
- New heater Vave (4seasons, aftermarket with OEM hoses)
- Pioneer 2330 NEX head unit (Apple CarPlay, with mic) with Pioneer 6.5" door speakers, active sub and backup camera
- Hella 7" lights on mini light-bar, professionally installed with heavy duty wiring harness
- New hexomats
- New factory turn signal lenses/housings in front
- LED brake, turn signal and side marker bulbs
- new hood and hatch struts
- spare set of belts (fan and a/c)
Just serviced (Castrol 10-40, new Toyota filter). Tires just rotated and dynamically balanced. Transfer case/diff service (Mobil1 75-90 / Lucas 80-90) in January. New OEM window run installed on passenger side, drivers side just needs to be installed, I have the new factory part. Rear pinion bearing will likely need attention, some noise at 65+ mph, and though they are well-greased, it is probably time to do the u-joints as preventative maintenance. I'll take care of that this summer -- just need to find the time, or you can do it.
A few dings, which I will be happy to show you in person or via a Skype/Facetime session if you're serious. PPIs are fine, (at your expense) as long as I don't have to drive 500 miles to do it. Hoping for a no-BS sale, and I have nothing to hide, this is a GREAT truck.
Has nearly new Yokohama Geolandar tires, less than a year old. Runs and drives great!. Rolls over Donner @75+mph, easy. A longer-term change in plans (I need a fullsize pickup for towing) is driving the sale, willing to entertain offers - but this isn't a fire sale and if you know what a clean LC costs, and then costs to baseline -- then the price is market-correct and fair. Open to trades, reasonable offers including trucks and most anything Porsche.
