Hi I would be amazed if anyone knew the answer to this but here goes: there is an L shaped bar (bent about 120 degrees rather than 90) which connects between the lockdown assembly at the inside bottom of each of the 3rd row seats to the bracket mounted on the interior side wall. It's purpose is to mechanically pivot the locking assembly downward on its hinge so that it limes up with the striker bar on the floor and locks into place when the seats are lowered. My question concerns this bar. I bought my 3rd row seats not too long ago and I believe the seller told me they came from a 93 or 95. I forget. I have a 94. I'm experiencing a problem in that the locking assembly does not completely pivot to its full vertical 90 degree position when I drop the seats so that the seats lock down when they strike the floor. The L shaped bar that I'm describing appears to be just slightly too short to cause the locking assembly to fully complete it's travel on the hinge. In order to lock down the seats I need to disconnect the bar where it pops on/off the bracket mounted to the sidewall. Does anyone know if this bar is different from year to year? The seat fabric (brownish tweed) is the exact same as my interior. My truck is completely stock and in excellent condition. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I'm constantly raising and lowering the seats to accommodate my girlfriends daughter and her friends. Thanks.
