I looked for a long time for this LC. It is full locker. I added the Center Diff switch. I bought it with 190,000 miles from the original owner who always took care of it. It now has 215,000 miles. I did not use it much in the last 3 years, approx. 25k miles. I bought it thinking I would need it for use at my cabin in Joshua Tree. I have realized I do not need this serious of a rig. I am afraid to damage it.

I took it to Valley Hybrids in Stockton for $3500.00 worth of service. George is the best. He did full brakes. Full front diff and rear diff service. Inspected and lubed the front birfield joints. They were in great shape. He did all the leaks. The distributor, water pump, valve covers, transfer case, full ignition wires, plugs, filters, transmission and front and rear differential service. Basically everything that is common to leak and wear over time. I had him fix everything it needed. He put in new fan shroud. There is a small front ding in the front panel. I have a full replacement that is included. I also had an alignment done.

I had the air conditioning rebuilt $1200.00 for full everything new. I installed a new heavy duty Toyota starter. I also added a heavy duty fan clutch. All the common things to replace. I added Air adjust bags in the back springs for when I have a heavy load. I can level out the truck with my small compressor to the air valve in the rear.

This truck does not have any rips or issues with the head liner. Sunroof works perfect. No leaks. LED lights installed in the interior lights and dome lights. The seats are the usual ugly. Both electrical movements work, I installed new gears on the passenger side. I have the back row seats and those are included. I also have the running boards if you want them. I took them off and put on the factory front mud flaps for trucks without running boards.
I had seat covers on but took them off to show the ugly leather.
I installed the hand Throttle control system from Toyota.
The front window is tinted very light as are the driver and passenger side front doors. This makes such a difference in the desert.
There are a few chips in the front windshield but no runners.
All electrical works. No issues. There is a slight High pressure power steering hose leak. I have the replacement, but have not had time to swap it out. It is not severe enough to have me worried, but I keep my vehicles in top shape.
There is no rust on this vehicle. It has been in California its whole life. It usually sits in my car port covered. I use it maybe 10-12 times a year. Just not enough to keep it around. I will be getting a smaller pick up.
I have full factory micro fisch and reader you can have. Also full factory service books and all other repair manuals from the other folks.

Look at the photos with the link below.

It has a simple light bar in front and works well. Mounted to the license plate holes.
Personalized plates do not go with truck. I will take the brackets you can see on the front off of the truck. I will also remove the Grille badge I added. 200 mph stickers will also be removed.

I forgot to mention I have extra rear floor mats and plastic liner for the rear. Any other parts and such I can think of will go with the truck. Why restore one when you can have a sweet original one!

George knows what he is doing and his rates are reasonable, 80's are not cheap to drive or maintain properly.

Triple locked, well maintained, CA vehicle is only worth 6 or 7 grand more than the some of its parts.... Seems reasonably priced to me and that leather should clean up well.

Good luck with sell.

I don't think the price is that far off "market" - you could get 12k for it under the right circumstances. At 14k it might sit for a bit. (my 2 cents)

Did you tow with this? *airbags*

Im assuming gas consumption to Joshua Tree was the big factor in selling. any interest in a low mile Lexus that gets 25mpg in trade? *and will out-tow most small pickups*

My streamliner motorcycle and trailer weigh less than 1800 lbs. I towed it to El Mirage about 4 times total. Other than that no other towing cept a trash trailer once in a while to the local dump. The air bags just brought things level. You can see the push bar on the truck.

I also have a brand new bumper with the cut out for the winch factory style and a front valence. I have the micro fisch reader and all of the film for the factory books for this land cruiser and a tacoma or four runner (cant recall which one). All go with the deal.

I lowered the price. I also added a Land shark outfitters rear drawer/storage system I bought for $500.00 from a local guy who had it in his cruiser. I always wanted the set up. Why would I do that? I lowered the price and I spend $500.00 on something I am selling. I have mixed emotions about selling it. It is such a good vehicle.
