I believe he's looking for a yes or no answer on whether those known troublesome items have been replaced, it's not likely the dealer replaced them unless they were leaking or failing....

if thats the case, he should rephrase the question. the other poster didnt ask that, and neither did this dude. he ought to ask the question he wants answered instead of accusing the OP of not answering the non-asked question...

Not to bust chops, but a fresh coat a black paint will make almost anything look nice. Look carefully and you'll notice that it's been hit with paint recently. Would prefer to see what is really under there. Also, it looks like a MI vehicle. That's salt country.

according to the history report it was a CA and TX truck until 2010 when it went to MI

The $19k represents what? Do you know if the birfs were done, the PHH, the HG? If not, this could represent a few more thousand dollars in cost of ownership to consider.

This was the question I asked and wasnt answered. How else should it be asked b/c it was not answered

Thanks for the dialog on the truck guys, that is not black paint. That is Ziebert that has been sprayed underneath to protect against corrosion. Truck was originally rom CA and Texas, when I brought it up here I new I was going to drive it a few times and didn't want underneath to get rusty. There nothing being hidden here, truck is really nice.

Oh and the $19k is nearly what I have into it. The price is best offer $12k. Someone just really needs to see this truck in person. That or I need to take some better pictures of something. All receipts for recent work and parts, manuals, service guides, and even the original 1993 brochure that has this exact color combo on the front of it.

And as for the head gasket and heater hose, no they have not been done. Like I said I had the dealer go all through the truck, I do not do heavy mechanical things and they had a few recommendations which I had them do for a handsome some. Other than those items that I had done they said the truck was in fantastic shape. If the truck needed anything it would have been done.
