*SOLD* 1993 FZJ80 locked/sliders $5500obo Arlington, TN *SOLD*

The time has come for me to part with my 80. I just recently got a company car and now I have no room in the driveway/garage for all my vehicles. The cruiser runs strong and is in good condition. The CE light comes on and off, the motor uses about a quart of oil every 2000 miles or so. The rims need to be sanded down and painted or powder coated (I started, but ran out of time/interest). The leather seats aren't too bad and there are covers over the front two. The body is in fairly good condition with a few not so good spots on the rear hatch and the body has the clear coat coming off in a few places. The rear/front bumpers aren't perfect, but don't look that bad. It currently has about 151,xxx miles on it and I will continue to drive around in it until sold. I really hate to get rid of it, especially since the wife wants to keep it over her 99 4Runner, but out of all the vehicles I have it is the most expensive to maintain. I have tried to be as forthcoming as possible and I'm trying not to leave anything out. Please feel free to give me a call or come by and see it. I'm in Arlington, TN which is right outside Memphis on I40 going east. I can be reached at 901-867-9808 or aandrmc@gmail.com.

Forgot to mention it has brand new Yokahama Geolander A/Ts and an air suspension in the rear w/ trailer brakes.

SOLD...thanks Roy

The fact that you are a Steelers fan is the biggest selling factor.

Looks like the PO tried to stop some rust by using tap under the back glass. Was the head gasket replaced?

I haven't done the head gasket, and I don't know the history of it.

is that a bull mastiff? I might want a puppy and the rig...

One more bump then going on ebay

New price $4500obo

Didn't sell on Ebay...

How's about $4500 obo?

re-list it on ebay, but start it off at something like $500. have a reserve of what you really will take for the car so if the bids don't get high enough, you don't have to sell it.

It's a mistake to list anything (especially cars) on ebay at a starting price of what you really want to get for it. If you start cheap, people will bid, and once they bid, they're kinda hooked on it a little bit. Psychology of the auction.

AFAIK it did NOT have the head gasket done on it, nothing in the paperwork from the previous owner before me and I did not have to do it.

Bump for ya - the rig did really well for me when I owned it!

I'm more than likely going to do that. I have a couple of people coming to look at it and I'll put it back on Ebay this weekend if no bites.
