Hi! I recently purchased this about 6 months ago. I am originally from South Africa, so this has been my dream car for a while and I was excited to redo it. However i'm a student and I really don't have time to work on it, and the mpg is killing me. Mechanically everything is great. There i

s some rust around the rear tire wells but nothing on the frame. Factory diff lock. Clean title.

First off - CONGRATULATIONS! Fuel milage is what it is, but being a 3FE you will have to learn to drive "OLD!" Never get in a rush and take your time, drive 60-mph because that is where it's happy on flat ground, learn to use your 4-way flashers going up hills... You can change spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor and such, but it's not going to gain you 5+ miles to the gallon, but it will run smoother. How many miles on your rig? Welcome to life the the 3FE lane!
