Happy Good Friday, if you Google "Toyota EGR transducer" they'll be plenty of images. I explained it, post #9.
Not to nitpick, but that is the incorrect usage of the word "transducer".
A transducer is an electrical component. The EGR and vacuum modulator are simply vacuum operated diaphragms.

The silver tube that goes to the EGR modulator is flowing free, not plugged. The coolant in the radiator is still when cold as viewed through the cap hole.
Any exhaust leaks before the cat? What happens when you apply vacuum when idling, It should almost shut off.

There was, I got it fixed some time ago. It was under the drivers' left foot. I hear nothing now.

Yes, applying vaccum to the modulator makes it stumble badly.

I think it is listening in on us. Since I last reset the dash lit with the fuse, the light came on briefly, then went out by it self. I now have over 500 miles on the trip odometer since the last reset. Maybe something has changed to make it work better. Maybe I am very lucky?

In case you have not tested, disconnect EGR temperature sensor, you should have five volts. Next plug in the connector and backprobe green yellow wire, apply vacuum to EGR valve with the engine at 2000 RPM voltage should drop less than one volt fairly quickly once EGR operates. If voltage doesn't drop, look for restrictions in EGR passages.
