The good...
1992 FJ80 sand colored
8 passenger 2x3x3
160,000 miles
31" Wrangler ATs w/75-80% tread
Tow package, spare tire, AM/FM/Casette, center dif-lock.
I have changed the oil quarterly and the air filter yearly. I just did it again 2 weeks ago.
New cats 4 years ago.
New exhaust/pipes/muflers from the cats back last year.
Trany rebuilt 5 years ago.
The bad...
AC needs recharged about every 3 years. Its low now.
Driver's window console is loose. The handle is fine, just the switch pad that sits in it is loose. The electronics all work, but the tab that the mounting screw sits in broke off and now its loose.
The ugly...
Body has some moderate damage. Nothing that interfeers with drivability.
Standard FJ80 slow oil drips. Keeps blacktop driveways looking fresh.
I gave $13,000 for it back in 2000. My wife banged up the body a bit and we put a lot of miles on it. I'm asking $2,800. My neighbors have started to notice that I have 3 Land Cruisers in my driveway. This one has to go.
We're selling it because I bought my wife a Red 1996 FZJ80 with 111,000 miles. This is the vehicle that got us started on Land Cruisers. It will make either a high school kid or someone just starting to wheel a fun vehicle. I'd keep it for my twins, but they're only 4 and will likely get the '96s in 12 years.
My wife & twins would be mad at me if I didn't mention it. The truck's name is Sandy. If you're interested, send me a private message and I'll give you a link to the pictures.
