Since I have owned: new water pump, most coolant hoses replaced, idler bearings,stereo wiring repaired,window motors greased, new gear dope in all, exhaust and intake gaskets, tie rod end.
Not the prettiest but a fine truck. I have driven it to Gatlinburg and all over the north Georgia mountains, never any issues.
I bought a couple of LX450s and today’s count puts me at 19 vehicles, not counting scooters,motorcycles, etc.
I love this truck, but it and others must go.
Drives and rides better than my Lexus.
The drivers seat was very worn (still have) so I started converting to newer style Jetta seats with heat and power recline.
Only the drivers is in and not completed as I found the Lexus and since then all spare time has Bennett diverted to it. The factory seat will bolt right back in if wanted.
Pin 7 mod done , cdl switch from factory.
NO LOCKING AXLES
Rust in front of rear fenders and a spot in each rear inner fender.
Birfields do click some with acceleration at full lock, yes it is due.
Exhaust hanger needs to be redone as it was broken when I bought it, I rewelded but it was too low and now taps on the frame.
I am sure that I am forgetting a lot of things that I have done to this truck but will answer all questions.
Also have some spare parts to go with truck.
