1 owner since import to Canada ~2007. I put on ~200K since then, now @ 298K. RELIABLE runner. Pleasure to drive. Regular trips from Armstrong-to-Seattle every 2 months for the past 5 years. Twice to Saskatchewan.

Last time I checked, averaged 22-24 MPG, best was 26MPG. Alternatively, use straight veg oil for free! (I'll even show you how to setup your own filtration system and send you home with some oil, if you like).

Very sad to see it go. After 5 years of great family times with this van, my wonderful wife says she is ready for a Toyota Sienna. I love my Hiace… but I love my wife more. :O)

Note: RHD is easy to get used to. The hardest part is trying to get a Tim Horton’s coffee at a drive-through! ;o)

What engine does this have in it? Thanks!

Can I ask what gearbox it has? Could you possibly take a pic of the VIN-plate, all info on transmission etc. Is there.

Thanks!

Love it...would be a great rig for DD or expo rig! If we had to have a minivan this would be a great choice. :) GLWS.

Yes, 4x4: 4-hi, 4-low, 2wd.

It has manual locking hubs so you can go 2wd most of the time which is better for fuel economy, etc. Once the manual hubs are locked, you have an electronic switch on the dash to engage /disengage the 4x4. There is a shifter for 4-hi or 4-low.

For US folks - thanks for all the inquiries! Unfortunately, this van (1991) will not be available for registration for street use for another 2-3 years due to US import laws. :steer:
