Well with the impending arrival of my Unimog, I’d like to make room by selling this camper van. I’ll be getting it prepped for sale in the coming weeks and wanted to put it out there to gauge interest.
Year: 2000
Make: Toyota
Model: Grand Hiace
Mileage: 160k km (100k mi)
Features rundown: 4wd, sink, microwave, fridge, privacy curtains all around, kitchen table, onboard battery system, awning, sleeps 4
Price: $16k
It’s a full time 4wd with the trusty 3.4 gas engine 5VZ-FE that’s very common everywhere. I almost prefer this over the non-intercooled 1KZ that I see elsewhere for serviceability. Has a high top conversion (I can stand up inside being 5ft 9in tall) with a sink, microwave, and inverter fridge. Front seats swivel to the rear and there is a removable table that services the front and middle seats. There is a battery system that powers the accessories. With the removal bed platform in place it can sleep 3 or 4 inside. Has a built in awning. Has a dedicated HVAC control for the rear. Good amount of storage and locking cabinets. Starts right up, drives well, and has newer tires (2023 production). AC and heat works very well. Timing belt was done at 101k km. Just put in new alternator (price updated). Everything seems professionally installed. There are some surface rust underneath and by the rear glass (see pix). It will be sold with a clean MD title under my name.
I think this will be a great camper van to take advantage of in the spring.
Given the condition, features, and relative rarity of the engine chassis combo, I’d like to get $16k for it. Clean MD title under my name.
Feel free to text me at 443-574-5066 for more picture and info.
