I purchased this 80 series last year and put a lot of work into it including rebuilding the engine, birfield joints, front brakes, new tires, and changing diff oil. The rebuild included all new standard parts for a rebuild including water pump, oil pump, fan clutch. I had the head and block professionally machined by a reputably shop and spent countless hours meticulously rebuilding the engine. It ran great for 4 thousand miles but began to run rough a few days ago. I have too much money into it and can't afford to put another penny in. I need a reliable family SUV not a project so I am selling it cheap so I can get a down payment on something newer.
I don't know exactly what is wrong with it but my best guess is that there is a problem with the valves. The interior and body are in great shape with the only problems being a small ding in the rear door, the high fan setting not working, a crack in the dash, and a small tear in the side of the drivers seat.
I am asking $2000 and it is located in Casper, Wyoming. If interested email eddiekilner@gmail.com.
Thanks.
