1991 HDJ81 *5 SPEED* part time 4wd Vancouver BC

****Sold*****

Can't really justify anymore having two cruisers, so I'm selling the 5 speed.

1991 HDJ81 (RHD). 5 speed H151F tranny, factory part time transfer case.

126,000 km. Nice shiny new black paint job (no pinstripes). New rotors, amsoil all round. Aftermarket recco-style chairs in the front. Safari snorkel, 4'' lift, Rancho 9000 shocks. Winch bumper (no winch). 5 *Brand New* 35'' BFG MT's. BEB replaced by Ciaran.
Location: Richmond (Vancouver), Canada. Not importable to USA, sorry.
Price: CAN$18,000 o.b.o. (price dropped cause I swapped the stainless exhaust for a stock one)

I cannot belive that I am asking this and the result might be dangerous (for my bank account at least), but does it have lockers in the axles?

Sorry, just noticed this question.

No, it does not have lockers, you'd need to fit autolockers or airlockers. I have reduced the price to $18,000 o.b.o because I stole the stainless exhaust off it (onto my auto), so now it has the stocker exhaust.

By the way, the difference between the 5 speed and the auto in terms of power-to-the-ground and performance is DRAMATIC, you have to drive it to realize just how much power gets soaked up by the full-time drivetrain and torque-converter. Considerably better fuel economy as well. Deciding which to sell was HARD; if my auto wasn't already as tricked out as it was it would be a non-brainer. As it is I've been back-and-forwards between selling the auto and 5 speed a few times.

what kind of fuel economy is this getting?

I got around 24 mpg around town, considerably (20%) better than my auto. And that's with 35'' tires.
