1990 Hilux 2.8 (3L) diesel oil drain plug size?

Does anyone know the oil drain size in the 3L diesel? I want to buy a FUMOTO plug before I pull the existing plug out. I think it's 18mm x 1.5 but can someone confirm?

Maybe call a dealer? That's pretty specific info there.... Or have an auto parts store look up what plug is a replacement, and check it in the store...?

You probable should remove the current Sump Plug to measure the threads as it's possible that the Sump's thread has been tapped to a larger size, or could of even of been tapped as a Tapered Thread.
