Bought this rig about a year ago for a project that has now morphed in a different direction. As this is a 1990 it is not legal for street use in the USA so it is being sold as a running/driving parts rig only.....NO TITLE. This is a RHD JDM spect cruiser with a 1HDT/Auto. Body is rust free, but paint is faded and drivers fender has a dent. Truck has 179000KM or roughly 111000 miles on it. Before I bought the truck the following items were done:

New radiator
New tires
New batteries
New starter
New exhaust
New timing belt

[FONT=&quot] New t-stat
Rebuilt alternator

Truck has e-locker rear and full floater. I do not have time to part the truck out so if you are looking for individual parts it will be cheaper for you to buy the whole truck. I am into the truck for $11,500.00 with transporting and a few parts and that is what I want for it. I have been running the truck on some trails and it performs great, so the KM may change. SOR wants way more for only half a vehicle so this is a great deal. Interior is not perfect but presentable. Has factory winch bumper. Can be test driven any time. I can aid in transporting the truck for the right price....ie fuel cost +time! Located in Central Oregon.

PBBLLHHHHH! I don't like you any more. ;)

Get in line budy, but seeming how you are such a stand up guy I will let you get in line behind my wife. Something about spending too much time in the shop.

On a serious note this would be a great donor rig for your pig! Nothing like a diesel powered pig.

I KNOW! This would be perfect for my Princess... but I'd probably be screwed if I did. :(

Someday though...

Wanna PM me a rough guesstimate of what it would cost to have you install it as well? Just for giggles?! :)

As the old saying goes a lot easier to ask for Forgiveness Than Permission:hhmm:

I will send you a PM.

This would be a nice install into say a FJ55;), she would be a tight fit for the transfercase between the frame rails...

This still around?

Getting a lot of interest but no one has showed up with any money yet...so the package is still available.

For MUD members only I am willing to drop the price $500.00 to $11,000.00 to help offset the shipping expense of the truck as most parties that are interested are not in my area.:bounce:

That rig looks very familiar ....... :grinpimp:

Thought you might recall this truck:) Something about way too many irons in the fire and I have a truckload more showing up daily. So went through and made a list of projects that would definitely get done before all my hair fell out...of course it doesn't help that I sometimes add new projects in front of existing ones either. I definitely suffer from Cruiser Sickness.

So if the vehicle isn't importable then wouldn't you not be able to register the engine in a different vehicle? Not to hijack this thread but If I am wrong does anyone know what model diesel engines are US importable?

The simple answer is that as there were never any RHD vehicles brought in by Toyota in this configuration it was never tested to meet DOT requirements and thus cannot be imported until it is 25 years old. Once a vehicle is 25 years old even if it is the biggest death trap that was invented by an automotive group, becomes exempt and can be imported no matter what. All states use the frame/body for registration, however each state has different rulings on diesel conversions. If you live in California just remember to take a large vat of Vaseline to the DMV when you go to talk to them.
