1990 HDJ81 Alternator Wiring (1 Viewer)

Hi guys found lots of posts about wiring HDJ alternators but can't find an image of which color harness wire is which. This is the most basic, 1990 HDJ81. Has glow plugs and battery warning light. Thnx for any help.
Made a diagram of what I think is correct but not sure -> IS THE DIAGRAM BELOW CORRECT?

Yes that is correct. Below is the harness side connector pinout as per EWD which matches your alternator diagram.

1 (L) yellow
2 (IG) black
3 (S) white

Thanks very much for the reply, good to know the aftermarket alternator matches the original.
But just to clarify, you looked at a wiring diagram that shows for HDJ's the L = yellow wire, IG = black wire and S = white wire?
The reason I ask is on the left side of the pic I posted, I just guessed which color is which based on the thickness of the wires compared to the HJ62 and gas 80 series. They have different color wires but similar thickness -> S thickest, L mid, IG thinnest.

Ok I found a diagram from a 12v FJ62 that has the same color wires as my HDJ81. They're about the same year so I think it's safe to say they're the same? If they are my diagram above is indeed correct as user HDJ80L stated.

Some wires are dual color and can be slightly different between diesel and gasoline or early and late models so for simplicity's sake I just wrote down the main color of the wire which is all that's needed. This is the alternator wiring diagram from the 96 EWD, the wire colors match your picture except that the yellow wire seems to be yellow-white on early models and yellow-blue on late models.
