(NO AFFILIATION) I don't have the necessary computer skills to post the link but there is a 1990 FJ75 pickup listed on Ebay Motors.
( Item Number 170634528505). It appears to be from some Middle East Country and is LHD but unfortunately it is a gasser.

Cool truck, but the interior looks a bit rough. Too bad about the carbed gasser. When did they finally go to EFI on the overseas 3F?

Never, the 7x 3f stayed carb until oct 92 when it was turfed for the 1fz

(NO AFFILIATION) This FJ75 has been re-listed on Ebay all be it at a somewhat higher price.

nice bloody dent in the front fender ...
$18K?
thats it, i gotta get on to selling mine.

The bulk of his Ebay advertisement is him "scolding" the potential bidders. I sincerely wish him luck however I am not sure this approach is the way to go.

I don't get why he raised the price from the first ebay listing (that had no bids) to the current one.

to create "percieved value"

sometimes if you sell something too cheap then the buying public feels there is something wrong with the item. if you increase the price then the percieved value will stimulate interest.

a few years ago, i had a HDJ81 for sale, beautiful rig, worth every penny of the price i was asking $28,000 but no money offers came in for over 4 months. i increased the price to $33,000 and it sold in two weeks. go figure.

funny!

note to self, increase price of truck to sell it! ;)

The actual first price of $18k was below the reserve so he wasn't asking that, could start an auction at $1 with reserve of $20k and it would be same thing so owner didn't likely raise price.

Would love to have a diesel 75 one day.

Scolding works BEST boys, SOLD!! Better Luck next time!

I guess if I decide to sell my BJ71 at some point in the future, I should remember to try this "unique" approach to salesmanship.:)

I'd love to own this truck...but that price...ick.

Two FJ75's have sold via Ebay Motors in the last year or so and both were sold in the $20,000 to $24,000 range. Even though that may seem to be high to some that is obviously the "market" price.
