1990 1pzj70 Headlights Stuck On

1990 1pzj70 head lights stuck on. Cycling the switch turns on and off the dashboard lights but headlights and taillights stay on. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

@rberlam , if that is the case, I would inspect the integrity of the light switch / stalk on the steering column. Pull the steering wheel & steering column cover and get eyes on it.
