I just picked this up, but I think I like my 1991 Cruiser for the moment.

Strong Engine
Automatic Trans
4x4 works
ARB Bumpers front and rear, I am keeping the fog lights/horn.
Owned by an older gentleman with lots of maintenance records for the last 10 years-- mostly dealership
Lots of rust
Clean Title

Asking $2000 firm, as the bumpers cost that new.
I will have more pics up tomorrow.

Well, I am not sure far I am from dover. Try map-questing or google directions, it might help you out. As for inspection, I would assume the rust would not let it pass, but the truck will be 20 years old in 2 weeks, and in maryland that means you get historic tags and no inspection. Not sure about Delaware.

Here are some more photos:

I have access to good doors, but they aren't white. My intention was to swap on new doors and get them painted, and just cut the rust out of the rear quarters.

Would you be interested in parting it out? Might make more on it that way.. I would be interested in the Seats and the bumpers.

I also forgot to mention that it has keyless entry. :0

I am willing to let the truck go for $850 as it sits, as the bumper may no longer be for sale.

Do you still have it / WITH the bumpers?

How many miles on the 62?

I might be interested in a swap

The cruiser has 230k on it, and it is still available whole. I have been tinkering with it, fixed a few things, discovered a few others.

Sorry, I think my cell dropped your call on accident...Tried to call back but you didn't answer.

Was wondering if you could post some pics of the engine where we can actually SEE the engine? Also, can you post pictures of the frame/shock mount issues you spoke of? Is that the only thing that is keeping it from being road-worthy for highway driving? Any other issues? How is the oil pressure on the highway and around town?

Also, still zero flexiblity price wise after 2 weeks?

Thanks for all your help and good luck!

The price is the price, I can't stress this enough. The rear shock mount is the only issue that I know that will keep it from being road worthy, that being said I have driven 50-60 miles the way it is when it snowed last week. It does need some exhaust work, the muffler has holes, and the tail pipe needs replacing. I just replaced the gauges and the engine has good oil pressure, I assume the last gauge got fried by someone putting the wire on the wrong tab.

I will fix the rear shock mount next week, and I will keep it, or the price will go up. I have a line on a full set of clean white doors, so I have the ability to make it more aesthetically pleasing. I will get an pictures if you are interested for the price I am asking, if not then we shouldn't waste either of our time.

How can I tell what exactly it is worth to me without pics of the stated issues? So yeah, um...I'm interested, just looking for better clarity...I realize it has used ARB bumpers, great pics of those...Feel free to post pics of the previously requested items and any more if you have them stashed away somewhere.

Also, how many miles have you put on it since owning it? Is the title in your name and in hand? How much are the doors that you have a "line" on? Did you install the bumpers? Have the originals?

Thanks man!

Also...Are you a dealer? You have different license plates on the back in the pics...The first ones have a regular tag, then in the last one the tag was switched to a Dealer Tag...I assume you bought it to flip it? Thanks for answering all these tough questions!

I am not a dealer, the first pics are from when I bought it. Currently the vehicle has no tags. I was waiting until Jan 2010 to get historic tags for it, as the registration, titling, and insurance is cheaper.

I will get some more pics in the next few days, as the ones up are all I have.

So, am I correct to assume that the vehicle is currently being listed for sale by you, even though the title/registration isn't in your name? Will it be transfered to you prior to sale or are you planning to just "curb it with an open title"?

When exactly did you purchase it and why the quick sale?

Is it safe to say you have an agenda since I wouldn't sell you the truck for $1200? The truck was never going to be "curbed" as you call it, as the title is currently filled out with ME as the buyer, as I stated before, tagging/titling it historic once it is 20 years old. As for your accusations, I don't think you want to do business with me, and now I can say it is mutual.

As for why I want to sell it? There is a local fj60 that runs around that is lifted, and I have a lifted Suzuki Samurai. After years of owning that, I thought it would be fun to have something larger. I bought a fj80 earlier this year, as I have always wanted a Cruiser. But after battling the braking issues on the FJ80, and then someone stealing the cats, I am not having the kind of feelings I once had for it. I came across this 62 and thought it would be a good vehicle for me and my partner to work on. But she is in Australia until Feb, and I am leaving to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail in May (6 months), so I put this cruiser up as I feeler, and I was going to do the same for the 80. I would like to keep one, so which ever sold first, I would keep the other.... and all this is if you had to know kind of thing.
