Well, the time has come, and I am selling my beloved FJ62. This truck has no rust and is in excellent condition. It lived its life in the very dry Palm Desert area and was taken care of from day one. I acquired it from a friend who collects them and decided to upgrade some tired OE components along the way. It passes California SMOG with no issues and is extremely roadworthy. Some pics show the Old Bumper & Mirrors, and others show the current setup with the Bumper, Euro-Mirrors, etc. Technically you can have it look whatever way as I have all the parts seen, available! Customize it however you wish, after you buy it.
- Complete suspension kit from Cruiser Outfitters - Deluxe Kit: Old Man Emu Heavy Leafs Front, Medium Rear, All new bushings, shackles, sway bar extensions and bushings, Nitro Shocks (Soft), Steering Stabilizer and 555 Steering Linkage/end-links and all-new hardware on all of the items noted above. Of-course post-shakedown, it was professionally aligned and tracks extremely well.
- ARB Deluxe front bumper - Brand-new, installed a few weeks back and it flawless. OEM Steel bumper & caps are available if asking price is honored. Can sell separately as well, it's in pristine condition.
- Euro-style Mirrors from Specter Off-Road. OE power mirros are available.
- Exterior Paint correction performed, including buff & seal. OE Paint and Rubber are in extremely good condition for its age.
- Trailer Hitch (OEM Add-on item)
- Ceramic Tint on all windows (except windscreen)
- In-dash screen installed with smartphone connectivity and Bluetooth. OE Radio available works as well. In-dash installed with no modification and/or wire alterations using a plug-and-play harness. Marine-grade speakers installed in-stock location with no modification.
- OEM Toyota TRD Pro Alloy wheels (No spacers/etc.) Fitment is perfect. wrapped in brand-new Falken AT3W A/T Tires. OE Steel Wheels avail, in-great condition wrapped in BFG KO A/T 31" Tires.
- Interior condition is great for its age. Minor stains and wear visible could use a solid shampoo. Carpet is worn, but not terrible. Passenger window regulator needs to be replaced (not rolling down as of last week) not the switch, however. Willing to discount price accordingly.
- Engine and powertrain are perfect, shifts smooth and drives great. This is the Fuel-Injected 3FE Engine, so it has good power and drives without hesitation. A/C and Heater work perfectly, as does the 4WD and all other elements of the powertrain. Recently had all its fluids flushed and filled. The only thing needed is an oil-pan gasket (has a very minor leak) but just haven't had time to replace. Included are spare brand-new belts and some spare parts for longer road-trips. Trans has OverDrive which is really nice to keep the RPMs lower on those longer hauls.
- Truck includes OE, original Manual, Jack, Tool Kit.
- All lights work, including interior domes, gauges, etc.
