1989 Toyota 4Runner--SOLD--

Starting a new post with new price. Need to sell. I bought a new truck last week and don't need this 4runner anymore.

'89 Toyota 4Runner
All stock
22re, 5sp., 4wd.
Truck has 240k, engine has aprox. 65k,
I drive this truck every day. I've had it on several long trips to TN, GA, ect. and never had an issue.
Grey interior, grey exterior
A/C, Cruise, CD player, SR5 guage cluster, Tacoma center console, Great tires.
Runs great
Has one rust spot on the whole truck, Its on the pass side rear quarter right behind the wheel opening.
Rear window works and I don't belive the hard top has ever been removed.
just installed new lower front valance.
Could use a paint job, some seat covers, and an oil pressure sensor to work with the new cluster.
$2800.00

I would drive this to New mexico, on to california, and back again without a second thought. I know thats what everyone says but I'm serious. Another guy in Michigan asked me the same question. A guy in VA asked me for some more pics of it today so i snapped a bunch (43) so i'll post them here too.

Also, i forgot about it until today but when you turn the wheel ALL THE WAY to either side and hold it there something creeks like a shock bushing or something. Ive just always known not to turn it to full lock so it slipped my mind. Just want everything to be out and on the table so nobody thinks i'm trying to hide anything

That's nothing - very common on the IFS rigs. Dab grease on the steering stops on both sides and that noise will go away. The plastic caps wear through in no time. I used to do this at every oil change on my 94.

Bump for a very nice 4R. I really dig this and am interested, just don't have space for another vehicle.:frown:

Thanks for the info on the steering stops. I'll take care of it today.

Bring that thing over to Rockvember at Uwharrie Stables tomorrow and throw a For Sale sign on it...there should be lots of eyes in attendance.

Just a thought...

i would, but i'll be working tomorow. If you are there, spread the word about it!!!

Still here if you can believe it...

somebody pony up and make the trip out here to get this truck. You know you want it.

I need to sell this truck. Its killing the grass where its parked. Make offer.
