Just ran across this today on CL. Looks pretty sharp minus the running boards. A bit on the high side but thought someone might be looking...

i can believe rwh at 105. all i see wrong is the ohc. so what, hes not a mechanic, he had the work done somewhere else. i just hope it was a cheap install.

I call BS on 87 Octane though...

(1+(5/14.7))*(static compression ratio) = 11.4:1 - Not happening on 87 Octane...

I didn't follow the link, just butting in with my $0.02:

Why not turbo a 3fe? 5lb of boost should work just fine on a reasonably healthy motor.
And as pointed out above, the dyno is measuring rear wheel hp, not at the crank, where the OEM rating comes from.

Edit: as far as the price, it seems someone is falling for the classic predicament of trying to recoup the full cost of mods dollar-for-dollar.
That is some stoopid low mileage. If it's accurate, that rig has spent half it's life sitting. Unless it was stored properly, it could actually see more problems that a well used rig.

$0.02 spent.

I be lieve a guy in tulsa put a turbo or super charger on a 3fe. he was on here some a tulsa police officer . he moved on to other toys I think
