I am selling my 62 since I bought a 40. It was purchased 2 years ago and since then I added a tranny cooler, split the fan shroud, added new struts to rear upper door, put a SOR seat cushion on driver side, and added rear seat belt harnesses.
Also added radio with a USB for ipod or mp3 player.
$6000, price is firm. This is not a must sell. I did not just lose my job and my wife did not just file for divorce.
I also replaced,
-Radiator
-fan clutch
-water pump
-thermostat and housing
-belts and some hoses
-air pump
-fuel pump
-fuel filter
-alternator
-coil
-plugs
Has some typical 62 stuff to deal with. VSV valve or whatever turns green 4wd light off does not work. Right rear window does not roll down and auto door locks do not work. And the shifter is loose but Transmission is solid with no slips or hard shifting.
No significant rust. A few surface rust spots which have been treated, none bigger than a nickel or so.
Clean interior but interior is not stock. According to PO stock seats were recovered with bluish velour type fabric before the original new owners took delivery. It was probably was done by dealer. Dash is not cracked.
