Up for sale is by far the cleanest Toyota Land Cruiser I have ever seen come on craigslist. This is a 1988 Toyota FJ62 Landcruiser (Aka Land Cruiser) Wagon.
First this Wagon has a lot going for it. It's as ORIGINAL as I have ever seen, straight from the factory. Even with 209k miles, this is by far the most clean, and well kept Land Cruiser on the market.
The paint is ALL ORIG. Orig. Locker 4x4 wheels toyota wheels, undercarriage has BARELY any rust at all.
There is some areas where it's starting to fade, but not even worth mentioning. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS!!!
The bumper (rear) has been sanded and repainted.
The interior is SUPER CLEAN and only has wear and tear on the driver's seat in the common area. There is a tear, and replacing the driver's seat is not a bad idea.
Other than that, the passenger, rear bench is all GREAT. Could use a detaling, but for the right price, I will detail on delivery!!
Could use a new set of tires for driving comfort, but's still awesome.
The engine is clean, and I have performed a lot of maintenance, including maintenance that has definitely been up kept in the past.
Maintenance:
1. I have done a complete check over by my mechanic, I have replaced and rebuilt the A/C compressor, blows SUPER COLD. Converted to R134.
2. Replaced A/C belt and pulley tensioner
3. Evacuated and recharged A/C and replaced filter and dryer.
4. Brakes are good, pads good, etc..
5. Replaced lower radiator hose, new radiator, and replaced coolant
6. Replaced broken antenna, power motor still works just not factory.
7. Just replaced fuel filter.
8. Replaced & Repaired dash to check out "no dash lights" replaced and found electrical back feed to ground, replaced bulbs and ran new ground wiring.
9. Engine Belts have all been recently replaced, no leaks anywhere, SUPER CLEAN ENGINE!! Like I said, best I have ever seen on ANY FJ62!! PERIOD!!
--- Small crack on windshield will need to be repaired - or replaced. -- Small rust underneath toyota under tailgate, small rust spot right front fender. Other than that new exhaust, a/c, and more.
WITH SUPER MINOR TLC...THIS IS THE PERFECT RESTORATION PROJECT!!! AS GOOD AS IT GET'S AS A STARTING POINT!
