*****SOLD*****
I've got a 1988 FJ62, 192k origional miles.
Origional transmission, rebuilt about 20k ago, added a large auxiliary transmission cooler. Mechanically The truck runs well, most of the systems have been gone though, front end: new bearings, seals, knuckle rebuild. New ss break lines. New power steering pressure line. Fuel and air: Throttle body cleaned, new fuel regulator and damper, injectors professionally cleaned. New fuel pump regulator. Cooling system: new hoses, water pump, thermostat. Replacement copper radiator, tested and soldered. AC: rebuilt compressor, new dryer, converted to 134, apparently still has a leak, will run, but not for very long. Engine: valves adjusted about 10k ago. New valve cover gasket and new side cover gasket. Rear seal replaced with transmission rebuild. There is an oil leak, I think it's the pan gasket, but I'm not sure.
Interior is all origional. No radios, or speakers. Previous owner had installed a big system, poorly. This led to anot electrical issue, which was resolved with a new set of heavy gauge waterproof ground wires all around, plus new alternator, new starter, and new battery. New SS batter box installed as well.
Dash is not cracked, seats are in good shape, and so is the headliner. No rear carpet in the back.
Body. There is some rust, on the roof and rain gutters. No fender, door or wheel well rust. Frame is good. Licence plate chrome bar has rust. Front bumper is bent, not badly, but it's there.
It's a good truck, Mel_low can attest, he's know this truck for a number of years.
Listed on Craigslist for $7500, but if it goes to someone from here who will treat it well, we'll go down to $6500.
Lots more pictures available on the Craigslist ad, in Jacksonville FL, Atlantic Beach area.
